OK, in my never-ending quest to make GearBits easy to leave comments on while keeping the spammers at bay, I've installed Jay Allen's much ballyhooed MT-Blacklist 2.04beta (which supposedly works with Movable Type 3.1x and above).
I'll know if it works in a day or two...and so will you all. :-)

You should try SpamLookup either in addition or instead of MT-Blacklist. It's the best anti-spam plugin around.

Hey, Jay, thanks for posting. I may give SpamLookup a try if I think I need another layer of protection (so far, I'm really impressed with MT-B). Keep up the good work and please keep 6A from incorporating all your features in their software (unless they also make it available in the free version).
