New HT audio: Rocket Tykes + Kenwood VRS-7100

Recently, I was looking around for a new home theather audio setup for our family room. A colleague recommended I consider the Rocket Tykes 5.1 speaker system sold by AV123.com. I was also looking for a new receiver oriented towards home theater (we're not true audiophiles, but good movie sound is important to us), and AV123.com was offering a Tykes package that added a Kenwood VRS-7100 digital receiver for just $100 more (these have a street price of $300 and up).

It came, I set it up, and it sounds marvelous. The room these little guys are in is fairly big, but they fill it quite adequately. I'm possibly even happier with the receiver than I am with the speakers -- for what I paid, the Kenwood is an excellent piece of equipment. After adding a rear center speaker (for true 6.1 surround) to the setup, movies sound terrific. I'll post pictures of the setup later if I remember to.
