Tapwave Zodiac Goes on Sale

zodiacstrip.jpg

Yes, the Zodiac is finally available...at least for pre-orders. Tapwave has said that orders will be filled starting in October.

The newly updated tapwave.com website also has boatloads of new information on games, accessories, packages, etc.

I've got my pre-order in...what about you?

Great! Which one did you get 1 or 2?

The 2 (128 MB model). As they say, if you're going to get wet, you might as well go swimming.

Sweet! Can't imagine how much games you can store in 128MB . . .

I got in an order for a Z2 as well (with the help of a buddy - they won't ship to Canada, eh?)

The original pilot came in two flavors: the 1000 (with 128k RAM) for $299 and the 5000 (with 512k) for $399. I got the pilot 5000. Fast-forward 6 years: the Zodiac1 (with 32MB) for $299 and the Zodiac2 (with 128MB) for $399. We've come a long way, baby!

Actually, Dan, fast-forward *7* years -- the Pilot came out in 1996. ;-) My how time flies...eh?
