IM Buddies
Marx Toys is selling, or pre-ordering, rather, a line of IM Buddies, dolls fashioned after Disney characters that sit on top of your monitor and speak aloud whatever comes through your instant messaging client.
Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny are currently mentioned as figures to be made available. These remind me of Mitch's post about Actimates.
Sounds like the IM Buddy would be fun for about, oh, 30 seconds.

I think I would be the first to market with an iron maiden designed soley for destroying IM Buddies! (For folks who are not up on medieval torture devices, an iron maiden is a big steel coffin-like device filled with knives that point in toward the victim. Ouch!)

That would be *Warner Brothers* characters, dear.
No argument on the annoyance potential, but dude, at least get the studio right.

Oops...my bad. Yep, WB it is...good catch, Jood. I guess my brain was MIA when I wrote the piece. Sorry about that.
