Not Impressed with New Gizmodo 'Style'

A few weeks ago, after losing Peter Rojas, Gizmodo made some editorial changes. One of the changes appears to be an attempt to bring a rather sophomoric emphasis on sex and drugs to the site. OK, we get it...you hipsters are just so cool. Now, how about going back to focusing more on the tech, hmm?

I'm sure that you know this, but just in case...

Peter's new site is www.engadget.com.

"Like..Engadget is the new Gizmodo"

Cheers,
Steve

Pete has started up a new site.
I agree that cat who is doing it now is an idiot.

I completely agree. Grow up Gizmodo. Don't blow the good thing you had going.

Totally...

Gizmodo has always been fun and intelligent, but now, I can't help but picture some pimply kid sitting at the keyboard doing the Beavis laugh.

Glad to hear Peter's got a new site. Will have to RSS that instead.

At least Giz is being regularly updated these days! Man, that place went through a major dry spell....

Thanks for posting Peter's new site...Gizmodo used to be my regular gadget update but like everyone has said, it's not the same. I still keep an eye on it just to see if anything intelligent pops up but I think I'll be an endgadget disciple from now on...

After a few weeks of reading the new Gizmodo, I am ready to declare that they should change their name to "Maxim -- the blog" ... Blech
